A$AP x Black Scale

4/20 is a special day in San Francisco, and A$AP Rocky understands the urgency in such matters. He swept across the city yesterday, starting with a day at Black Scale in Union Square, moving on to the Bill Graham Auditorium for the show with Wiz Khalifa, then heading to the Mezzanine for Black Scale’s afterparty in his honor.

Sometime before they filled the stage with girls (which happened quick) and kicking them off (not so quick) we got this footage of A$AP Mob’s empathetic reaction to the beat from “Pretty Flacko”. Check out the pics we got of him at the party and at the in-store appearance at Black Scale, and also check out Grady Brannan for his pics from the show.

S.L.A.T.E. at Magic is only a few days away and some of the most recognizable brands of the industry have partnered up to what is hyped up to be the most memorable party of this year’s Magic show. Presented by Frank’s Chop Shop and Wash House Records, the Kingpin Suite at the Palms will be the official venue for this mayhem of a party. Collaborating brands for this event will be in conjunction with Black Scale and Diamond Supply Co. The festivities will begin on Tuesday, August 17th from 11PM after the first official day of the trade show. Along with the mentioned brands, the curators of the 35th chapter of Frank151 – Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. – will also make an presence to support the event. The energy of the party will be in the hands of DJ Franzen along with DJ De as they will keep the party alive into the late hours of the night.
To commemorate this milestone, Frank’s Chop Shop along with respective brands – Black Scale and Diamond Co. – will be releasing a very limited run of collaboration tee’s. The progressive design of Black Scale incorporates a design that follows the theme of where debauchery and gambling is most tolerated – Las Vegas. Crowning the quote, “Three Card Champions”, the Black Scale X Frank’s Chop Shop tee highlights both brands along with Washhouse Records who plays a integral role in the “Ain’t nothing but a West Coast Party” event.
Diamond Supply Co. will also release a collaboration tee with their forward design concept, incorporating the Wash House Records logo within the classic Diamond template. The design highlights all collaborating brands including Wash House Records as well as Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E., tying it all in with the world-famous Chop Shop Razor Blade.
With all the powerhouse names that are involved in this collaboration, there is no doubt that anyone who attends the party will have a good time. We hope that you can join us for this very special occasion. See you in Vegas!
